Description
Green Thumb, Inc., is a national non-profit corporation providing mature- and disadvantaged-workers with training and employment. The organization operates in 45 states and territories and administers the Senior Community Service Employment Program, which provides on-the-job experience and training to low-income workers age 55 and older.
Goal / Mission
The goal of this program is the enhancement of employment opportunities for older Americans and the promotion of older workers as a solution for businesses seeking a trained, qualified, and reliable workforce.
Results / Accomplishments
Green Thumb provides training and employment opportunities to more than 40,000 people each year.
